Over the years, the Department of Management Sciences, Procurement and Business Studies has attracted the very best students across the globe and as such after their studies here at Kabale University, they have been placed in reknown local and international Organizations, Public and Private Sectors, Government ministries, entities and parastatals, Local Government, Banking Sector among others. Hence the Department alumni are very active players in the Business arena both nationally and internationally.

The Department provides you with an environment in which you can study your chosen courses in-depth, whilst becoming fully involved in all aspects of University life. The Department is dedicated to training and producing researchers who have appropriate skills, knowledge, competences, and attitudes to make ethical, innovative, professional, and creative contributions to the community and the professional disciplines.

The programmes in the Department of Management Sciences, Procurement and Business Studies have witnessed increasing numbers of applicants who are guided by highly skilled staff. The Department is blessed with highly trained teaching academic staff comprising of Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, and a number of Ph.D. holders, Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers on the Ph.D. track who all teach and guide scholars in both theory and practice.

The Department offers high-Quality Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programs in various fields approved and accredited by Uganda National Council for Higher Education. Currently, in the undergraduate portfolio, we offer Bachelor of Business Administration, with options in ( Accounting, Finance and Banking, Human Resource Management, Marketing), Bachelor of procurement and Logistics Management, Diploma in Business Administration and Management, Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Diploma in Human Resource Management.

In the Postgraduate portfolio, the Department offers a number of programs namely; Master of Arts in Human Resource Management, Master of Business Administration, Masters in Human Resource Management, Masters in Project Planning, and Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management

A number of new programs have been developed to meet the diverse interests of our clients and the national development objectives and these include; Ph.D. in Business Administration by research, Ph.D. in Business Administration (by Coursework and dissertation), Masters of Science in Accounting, Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship, executive Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Financial Management and Control, Masters in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, and Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management. We have student-friendly academic support systems that will support you realize your aspirations. We focus on academic excellence, combined with excellent sports facilities that make our students motivated learners, creative and innovative thinkers who are competitive internationally.
