Kabale University is pleased to announce the list of students who have been awarded loans under the Higher Education Students’ Financing Scheme (HESFS) for the 2025/2026 academic year. The scheme, managed by the Ministry of Education and Sports, supports eligible Ugandan students who wish to pursue higher education but lack the financial means.
All listed beneficiaries are required to sign their loan agreements on Wednesday, 24th September 2025 at 9:00 AM at Kabale University. To complete the process, each student must have paid 1% of the annual tuition fees and present hard copies of all supporting documents submitted during the application. Attendance in person is mandatory.
The HESFS aims to increase equitable access to higher education by providing loans and scholarships, ensuring regional balance, and supporting courses critical for Uganda’s national development.
