The Office of the Academic Registrar, Kabale University, is pleased to announce the Kabale University Kigezi Region Scholarship for the Academic Year 2025/2026. This scholarship is intended to support needy but academically deserving A-Level leavers from the Kigezi sub-region who wish to pursue specific bachelor’s degree programmes at Kabale University.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be Ugandan nationals from one of the following Kigezi sub-region districts: Kabale, Rubanda, Rukiga, Rukungiri, Kanungu, or Kisoro.

Have studied both O-Level and A-Level in schools located in their home districts.
-
Have completed A-Level studies not earlier than 2022.
-
Have passed A-Level with at least two principal passes, and O-Level with at least five passes.

Be admissible to one of the following Bachelor’s Degree programmes:

Medicine and Surgery

Nursing Science
-
Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Environmental Science

Agriculture

Agriculture and Land Use Management

Be capable of paying functional fees and personal living expenses, as the scholarship covers tuition fees only.

Complete the Kabale University scholarship application form and attach copies of:

O-Level and A-Level result slips

School identity card(s)

Birth certificate and/or national ID

Submit applications endorsed by:

LC I Chairperson

LC III Chairperson

Head Teacher of the A-Level School
