Kabale University invites eligible female students admitted to the Bachelor of Science with Education (BScEd) programme for the 2026/2027 Academic Year to apply for the Female STEM Student Teachers’ Scholarships under the Leaders in Teaching (LiT) Uganda Program.
The scholarship is supported by the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with Kabale University, the Ministry of Education and Sports and other partners. It aims to empower the next generation of female science teachers by providing access to quality teacher education and leadership development opportunities.
The scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees
- Accommodation
- A laptop computer
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a Ugandan female aged 18 to 35 years.
- Have been admitted to the Bachelor of Science with Education (BScEd) programme at Kabale University for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
- Be pursuing subject combinations in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture, ICT, or Computer Studies.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Show a strong commitment to pursuing a career in teaching.
