Christopher is a dedicated teacher with over fifteen years of experience in tertiary education with a specialty in hospitality management. He constantly seeks a role that enables him to help students develop the essential skills to succeed in a competitive environment.
He is an accomplished teacher with a passion for teaching and supporting students’ academic achievement. He is strongly committed to inspiring young minds with positive engagement and sharing knowledge and skills.
He has made a contribution to the Ugandan education sector at the national level in the following ways:
- Developed minimum standards for diploma in catering programs in Uganda at the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
- Participated in the development of the teaching syllabus and teachers’ guide for both the National Diploma and National Certificate programs in Uganda in the field of catering and hospitality. This is being implemented by the National Curriculum Development Center (NCDC).
- Assessed programs in catering and hospitality management, submitted for accreditation to the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE)
- Chief Examiner of Catering and Hospitality Examinations with the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB)
- Chief Item Writer and Moderator of Catering and Hospitality Items with the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB)
