The Department of Anatomy is responsible for the training of future physicians and researchers who are highly expected to contribute to the advancement of basic and clinical sciences. Our activities educationally is aimed at impacting the knowledge of gross anatomy, microscopic anatomy, embryology and neuroanatomy to medical, health sciences, physical therapy, and basic science students at undergraduate and graduate levels.

The department is committed to conveying relevant and crucial scientific information about the organization of the human body and the structure and function of its cells, tissues and organs to medical, paramedical and graduate students. Also as a modern biomedical research department, to produce current knowledge in the field of human and cell biology.

Our goal is to prepare our students for clinical courses, teach them to analyze and synthesis complex concepts and ideas, get them acquainted to incredible happenings and advances in medical sciences, and to reveal to them the values of caring and ethical professional interactions.
