Born on 30/11/1948 at Butiiti, in Kyenjojo District in Uganda. Had primary education in Kyenjojo District, secondary education in Kabarole District and higher education in Masaka District Uganda, for a short time, before travelling to the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar for further studies under a French scholarship. After obtaining a diploma in French from Madagascar, proceeded to France in 1970 to the university Of Caen for a year then transferred to the university of Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, France where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in French as my Master’s and PhD Linguistics.
In 1978 I moved to Nigeria and taught at Alvan Ikoku college of Education in Owerri, Imo State.
