Patrick Kagambo John Nahabwe

Assistant Lecturer - Economics

A seasoned economist and an educator with over 25 years of teaching experience across multiple universities since 1999. His strong academic foundation in economics positions him as one of the finest economists in the country. His extensive teaching experience has equipped him with expertise in econometrics, research methods, economic theory, policy analysis, and development planning. He is highly regarded for his analytical skills, dedication to student success, and contributions to curriculum development. Nahabwe continues to influence future economists and policy makers through his mentorship, research contributions, and passion for economics as a discipline. Globally, he is a recognized member of The Econometric Society.

Qualifications

PhD (MUST, Postgraduate): Doctor of Philosophy (Mbarara University of Science & Technology, Postgraduate). Thesis: Analyzing the interplay of foreign exchange rates, foreign direct investment, public expenditure and trade balance in Sub-Saharan Africa.

BSc (Economics): Bachelor of Science specializing in Economics, Honors,  (Makerere University)
