Profile: A Lecturer and educational psychologist with extensive experience in teacher education, child and adolescent developmental research, and academic leadership. I hold a PhD in Education (Educational Psychology) from Kyambogo University, a Master of Education in Educational Psychology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Uganda Christian University, complemented by a micro research coaching certification. Since 2014, I have served as a lecturer at Kabale University and currently head the Department of Foundations of Education, where I lead academic programs and coordinate research on academic engagement among adolescent students, menstrual health challenges, and learning dynamics among refugee adolescents, in addition to coauthoring research about mother–child interactions and cognitive and emotional development in infants. I have published several peer-reviewed journal articles examining emotional development and factors influencing adolescents’ educational achievement in Uganda. My professional engagements extend to international collaborations, community service, and multidisciplinary research networks across Africa and beyond. With a strong commitment to integrity, teamwork, and lifelong learning, I strive to inspire future educators while advancing research and practice in educational psychology to improve educational outcomes and child well-being. I am passionate about developmental psychology and learning dynamics.
