Department of Foundations of Education
The Department of Foundations of Education at Kabale University is the cornerstone of teacher education, providing essential foundational knowledge for both Arts and Science undergraduate students. Our curriculum is designed to equip future educators with the skills and understanding necessary for effective teaching, school leadership, and community engagement.
Our Programmes
Undergraduate:
- Core foundation courses for all Education students, including Educational Psychology, Curriculum Studies, Histo-Comparative Education, Socio-Economics of Education, Human Growth and Development, Education Administration, Human Learning and Instruction, Educational Technology, Educational Research Methods, Education Measurement and Evaluation, General Teaching Methods, School Practice, and Entrepreneurship Skill Development in Education.
Postgraduate:
- Master of Arts in Educational Management and Administration
- Master of Educational Psychology
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Management and Administration
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology
