George Mugavu is an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Governance, Kabale University.
George Mugavu apparently has a PhD in Public Administration and Management (by course work & Research), from Kabale University . He has a Master’s Degree in Organization and Public Sector Management ffrom Kyambogo University (Adequate attention to Public Policy, Ethics & Good Governance).
George Mugavu possesses keen Research interests in areas of Decentralization and Local Government Administration in Uganda, Climate change and community resilience, E-governance, Governments and politics in Africa, Democracy and democratization, poverty and matters of underdevelopment among others.
From 2016, he started his career in University Teaching as a part time Teaching Assistant in the Department of Sociology and Social Administration till April, 2019. George Mugavu also has First class Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Social Sciences of Kyambogo University (Political Science & Social Administration).
George Mugavu is a visiting Assistant Lecturer, at Kyambogo University (Department of Sociology and Social Administration and also Department of Political Science).
Other than Lecturing, George Mugavu trained as human resource officer in the Directorate of Human Resources Kyambogo University between 2016 and 2017 and definitely has keen interest in agitating for the industrial welfare for all staff in organizations.
