John Ivan Koshabohebwa

Mr. Koshabohebwa John Ivan is a dedicated higher education professional with a strong record of achievement in Quality Assurance management, institutional compliance, and academic service delivery. Currently serving as an Assistant Quality Assurance Officer at Kabale University (appointed April 2025), John Ivan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies and Office Management and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration and Management at Kabale University. He has played a key role in advancing the university’s quality assurance framework, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
He has also contributed to the accreditation and re-accreditation of over 25 academic programmes, successfully monitored examinations, and prepared reports that informed key decisions of the Senate Quality Assurance Committee. Mr. Koshabohebwa also supported the development and assessment of the Law Programme, facilitated quality awareness workshops for academic and administrative staff, and coordinated data collection and analysis for evaluating teaching and learning processes.
His ability to prepare comprehensive Quality Assurance operation reports, draft institutional policies, and train students and staff on quality management systems has significantly improved compliance, academic integrity, and service delivery. With a background in Public Administration and Office Management, he combines administrative efficiency with a deep understanding of educational standards, making him an asset in strengthening institutional performance and accreditation readiness.
