Training Quality Assurance officers in Universities on ASG- QA as a tool for building National QA systems: Karungi Monica, Rugumayo Brian Manyindo, David Misiimaami, Francis Ssengendo

The Project  supports Ugandan Universities to strengthen their Quality Assurance systems. This will result into quality higher education thus providing the relevant human resource needed for national and continental development.

The project will:

1. Enhance Quality Assurance capacity and harmonization of higher education QA Systems across Africa.
2. Ensure that national QA systems are aligned with continental standards, facilitating mutual recognition and comparability of qualification across borders in Africa.
3. Enhance the mobility of students and academic staff, as well as the transfer and accumulation of credits in Africa.
4. Support institutional improvement and accountability, promote international competitiveness and accommodate diversity and local contexts.
5. Empower Ugandan Universities to strengthen their Quality Assurance systems.
