Steven Rwabona Katashaya is a Senior Lecturer in Physics, specializing in Electronics and related Technologies. He holds a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from Makerere University (1975), an MSc in Physics with Electronics from University of Dar es Salaam (1979), a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering Science from the University of Essex (UK, 1983), and a Diploma in Datametrics (Computer Science and Information Systems) from the University of South Africa (UNISA, 1995).
Dr Katashaya has previously worked at the University of Nairobi in Kenya (1984), Harare Polytechnic in Zimbabwe (1985), National University of Lesotho (1986-87), University of Bophuthatswana, South Africa (1988-1989), University of Transkei, South Africa (1989-1993) and North West University, South Africa (1993-2016), lecturing and developing study materials mainly in Electronics and closely related areas.
Dr Katashaya’s research and teaching interests are in the areas of Computational Electromagnetics and Embedded Systems development.Download CV
