DR. MARY BAREMIRWE BEKOREIRE

Mary is a Ugandan with 21 years of professional experience and has successfully spearheaded the design and implementation of a diversity of socio-economic programs. She has extensive skills and experience in research, facilitating teaching and learning, team leadership, strategic planning and management, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation; and reporting. She has designed and led the implementation of several research projects.
Mary has worked with Kabale University since October 2022. Apparently, she is also a consultant at Campbell Collaboration where has been undertaking qualitative systematic review synthesis on a global youth empowerment project and updating Evidence Gap Map (EGMs) on youth empowerment since August 2021. Previously, Mary worked  worked as Lecturer at Uganda Christian University for 12 years and as a Director, Quality Assurance and Research at LivingStone International University, Programmes Manager at Uganda Women Concern Ministry, Programme consultant at The Carter Center; and Regional Coordinator at Scripture Union of Uganda.
Mary holds a PhD. in Political science, a Masters in public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (social sciences). She also has taken training in Multi-Method Research, Contemporary Political Economy Analysis (CPEA), Engendering social research methods and facilitating online teaching. Mary is a member of the Uganda Evaluators Association and the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM). She has made several presentations at international conferences and made several publications.
