Born on 10th March 1963, attended Schools at Buhanama Primary, School, Kitagata Sec. School (O level), St Kagwa Bushenyi High School (A level), Makerere University , International University of Andalucía, Spain, Nkumba University and Cambridge Tutorial College (the current Cambridge International College, UK).
Worked with Uganda National Parks , CARE International and Uganda Wildlife Authority raising from the rank of field officer to Deputy Director, Community Conservation.
Worked as a Part time lecturer of wildlife planning and monitoring, Nkumba University.
Served as a member of Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration Regional Technical Committee on Community Conservation.
A coordinator of ERASMUS+ KA171-HED that promotes the mobility of higher education of students and staff of Kabale University and the Technical University of Zvolen, Slovakia.
Reviewed the strategic plan for Uganda Wildlife Research & Training Institute (UWRTI), Katwe.
A consultant in the field of wildlife conservation and management, community based natural resources management and protected area planning
Participated in the review of curriculum of African Wildlife College . Mweka. Tanzania and designing a course on bushmeat
Was active committee member of Technical Steering Committee of UNDP funded Territorial Approach to Climatic Change (TACC) Project based in Bududa, Manafwa and Mbale Districts .
Part of ERASMUS+ research team (from Kabale University & Technical University of Zvolen, Slovakia) on mushrooms and effects of beetles in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park .
Appointed External Examiner of Busitema University, Gulu University and Nkumba University (natural resources management)
Participated in the peer review of 30 international journals (110 publications), IPBES publication on land degradation and IUCN review of Muranje Mountain, Malawi as a World heritage site.
Developed both the concept and proposal to establish a field research station and botanical garden for Kabale University in Echuya Central Forest Reserve which was granted by the National Forestry Authority (NFA)
Served as a member of the Training Committee of Uganda National Parks (1993-1996) & Uganda Wildlife Authority (2010-2019)
Participated in the development of the Research Agenda of Uganda Wildlife Research and Training Institute.

Research Interests
Assessment of Tourism revenue (protected area visitor entry fees) sharing in Uganda which is ongoing.
In collaboration with ITFC and the Technical University of Zvolen undertaking a study on the distribution and abundance of mushrooms in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
