Chance Rest

Chance Rest is an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Library and Information Science. She is pursuing a PhD in information science at Makerere University. She also holds a Master of Science in Information Science and Bachelor of library and information science from Makerere University. She has obtained other short course training certificates in such areas as Higher Education Teaching, Computer Applications among others. She has attended various workshops and seminars in line with her career.  She has also championed and participated in the curricula review and development for programmes offered in the department from Diploma to masters in the areas of Library Science and Records and Information Management.

She has been teaching at the university for the last eleven years. She has experience in teaching, supervising, mentoring students and conducting research.
