Preselection and Nomination of Candidates From Partner University With Deadline of July 8 2024.
Kabale University shall nominate up to 8 students and 8 staff for the purposes of the exchange programme. Submit your application to jakello@kab.ac.ug. Out of the nominated candidates by KAB, Sapienza University shall select the final participants in the exchange fulfilling the criteria set below. The courses to which applicants can express interest are Only those listed herein, taught in English as there is limited time available to learn a new language before the deadline of submitting nominees from KAB.

Semesters of 2024/2025
The 1st semester of the academic year 2024/2025 will start at the end of September 2024 and will end approximately on the 28 of February 2025. Examinations are usually held in January and February. Special exams sessions may be organized for students having to leave Sapienza prior to the official end of the semester, but these are very rare cases and have to be agreed upon with the relevant professors before the starting of classes.

- Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence- Information Engineering, informatics and statistics
Selection Criteria
For Students
- Have minimum CGPA 3.7 as academic achievement
- economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Have intermediate English proficiency demonstrated by an official certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge) or alternative qualifications (i.e. certificate issued by the Home University, language centers/schools, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills
- Students with special needs are encouraged to apply.
- For medicine related courses, a student is required to have a letter of acceptance issued by a professor of Sapienza University before the deadline of nomination date.
- Endorsed by your Dean of Faculty.

For Staff
- Have a Masters or PhD level certificate
- Confirmed as a full time staff of Kabale University
- Has served in KAB for more than 2 years.
- Has Is teaching courses relevant to the course applied for the exchange program to be taught and is conversant with the KAB mission, vision and academic goals
- Have a letter of motivation
- Recommended by the university Administration
- Has excellent communication skills
- Good personality and networking skills
- Willing to support students and staff to grow or benefit from similar experiences.
- Staff with special needs are encouraged to apply.
