Clearance Guidelines for Prospective Graduands Ahead of the 11th Graduation Ceremony

The Office of the Academic Registrar, Kabale University, informs all prospective graduands of the clearance requirements in preparation for the 11th Graduation Ceremony, scheduled for 30th October 2026.

The official clearance exercise will run from 14th September to 14th October 2026. All prospective graduands are required to complete the clearance process within this period by following the procedures outlined by the University.

The clearance process involves the following offices and requirements:

  1. Custodian‘s Office: Collect a clearance form and complete clearance with the office.
  2. University Library: Complete the required library clearance.
  3. Dean of Students: Obtain clearance from the Dean of Students.
  4. Faculty: Clear with the respective Faculty and obtain a results testimonial.
  5. Bursar’s Office: Obtain a financial statement confirming payment of all outstanding fees, including the UGX 200,000 graduation fee.
  6. Registrar’s Office: Complete the final clearance procedures, including collecting and proofreading the dummy transcript from the Records Office. The student’s academic file will subsequently undergo verification by the Admissions/Registration Office and the Examinations Office.

Prospective graduands are advised to begin the clearance process early and ensure that all required stages are completed by 14th October 2026.
