The Directorate of Research and Grants (DRG) invites eligible Kabale University staff and students to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the Kabale University Research and Innovation Fund (KAB-RIF) for the Financial Year 2026/2027.
The grant scheme supports impactful research and innovative projects that address societal challenges, contribute to national development priorities, promote multidisciplinary collaboration and strengthen research and innovation capacity within the University and surrounding communities.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the attached guidelines before preparing and submitting their Expressions of Interest. The application portal opens on 15th June 2026 and the deadline for submission of Expressions of Interest is 23rd June 2026.
Interested applicants should note that attendance at the mandatory information sessions and compliance with all application requirements outlined in the guidelines are essential for progression to the next stages of the grant process.
