The Office of the Academic Registrar notifies all students that the End of Semester I, 2025/2026 examinations will be conducted beginning Friday 28 November 2025 for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes, and Monday 8 December 2025 for Recess Programmes under Open Learning and Computer Education. Examinations will conclude on Friday 19 December 2025 and Saturday 20 December 2025 respectively.
Students are reminded to prepare adequately and ensure full compliance with the Academic Policy and Examination Regulations (January 2024). Sections 7.0 to 7.6, which outline examination procedures, eligibility, conduct, and penalties for malpractice, have been attached for your reference.
The University emphasizes the need for academic integrity during the examination season. Previous instances of malpractice resulted in cancellation of semester results by Senate and, in some cases, dismissal from the University. Students are urged to take this caution seriously, as cancellation of examination results may require repeating the entire semester, retaking all courses and paying full semester fees.
You are strongly encouraged to read and understand the detailed examination regulations to avoid any violations. Proper preparation and adherence to instructions will ensure a smooth and successful examination period.
