Research Interests
Dr. Nadunga has special research interest in the area of Bible in Africa. Hinging on the framework of Postcolonial African Bible Hermeneutics, she reads and appropriates the Bible to contextual realities with the view of addressing contemporary issues in society. In her view, the Bible as one of the tools used in the colonization of African societies, calls for deconstruction for it to be relevant to African readers. This calls for decolonizing frameworks/methodologies like creative reading that espouses the voice of the current recipient.
