Department of Law and Jurisprudence
In this department, we aim to impart students with an introductory study of law and its legal systems with a view of enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the nature of law. In this regard law and its nature is contextualised within a given setting. In essence student are introduced to an explanation of the law applicable and the source of legal materials. This will be done through exploring the different theories and principles whose underpinnings detail an account of what constitutes law.
