Tushemereirwe Judith

Tushemereirwe Judith is currently working as an Assistant Academic Registrar in the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences at Kabale University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management of Kabale University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Office and Information Management from Makerere University. She has previously worked in the School of Medicine, Kabale University, where she worked as an Assistant Administrative Officer from June 2017 to February 2021.  Before that, she worked in the Department of Economics and Business as an Administrative Assistant from September 2012 to May 2017.

Her main role as an Assistant Academic Registrar is;

• Ensures the accurate collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of students’ records.
• Provides technical support in the planning and coordination of teaching and examination timetables in line with the University teaching calendar.
• Ensures accurate verification and issuance of students’ academic documents (testimonials).
• Provides technical support/services to the Faculty during development/initiation and Review of University teaching Academic Programmes.
• Carries out accurate Compilation of Students results from all departments for further process and approval by Examinations committee, Faculty Board and the University Senate.
• Organizes and coordinates all Academic Faculty events like Faculty Board Meetings, PhD Proposal and Concept presentations, Masters Viva Voces, etc.
• Assists in Registration of students at Faculty level.
