Johnson Oluga is the current bearer of the position of Senior Assistant Secretary – Council Affairs. He is a holder of MA Human Resources Management (Leadership and Management) of the University of Bolton – UK, Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree (LLB) of Makerere University and several other Short Course Qualifications in Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Writing for Publication, Counselling, Managing Committee Work, Counselling, Discipline, Grievance Handling & Dispute Resolution among others.
During a Legal Internship placement in a Law Firm, Johnson, then an amateurish student of law was given over 100 files of wrongfully dismissed Security Guards to sum up a case in defense of the dismissing Security Firm. He took over a week perusing the files and by the time he submitted his brief to his Supervisor, he knew what he wanted to do for most of his career, to help Organizations stay as far as possible from unwarranted legal disputes arising from the day to day administration, operations and governance of such Organizations. Since then, he has never looked back on this. At work Johnson is interested in Policy formulation and implementation, compliance, managing change, mentoring and capacity building. On a part time basis he teaches related courses.
Outside work, Johnson has interest in Self-development, Helping, Volunteer and Charitable Work, Business Start Ups, Creative Writing and Photography, Training, Mentoring and Family. He confesses to be an enduring fan of Arsenal Football Club and likes playing indoor games.
