Niwagaba Mackly.R works with Kabale University as full-time librarian II attached to Faculty of engineering as a head of faculty Library and he also serves as a consultant since 2015 to date at the same University. He holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in library and information science, a certificate in medical records management , Certificate in computer applications (CCA) and Higher Education Teaching Certificate (HETC)all from Kabale University. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Information Science (MIS-KAB) He has been a librarian since 2014 update. He has worked in several colleges and Universities including AICM-College of science and Technology Kabale as college librarian 2014-2015, INES-Ruhengeri University Rwanda 2016-2019 as academic Librarian and was in charge of Electronic resources and Kabale University as partime Assistant Lecturer and later as a consultant 2015-2022. His area of interest is mainly the management of Electronic resources.

I have supervised over 20 students in internship from faculty of business and faculty of computing, library and information science of kabale university since 2015.
I have supervised 12 under graduate students in research from department of library and information science of Kabale University.
I have been invigilating end of semester exams for both postgraduate and under graduate students of Kabale University.
