Dr. Nduhukire Timothy

Lecturer

Timothy Nduhukire is a Lecturer and Ag Head of Department in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at Kabale University.  Also a Makerere University School of Public Health Fellow in Continuous Quality Improvement, Dr. Nduhukire is passionate about improving health care provision to children especially using Quality improvement approaches. Also, a passionate young researcher, Dr. Nduhukire’s key research interests are Newborn Health and Non-communicable diseases in children. Dr. Nduhukire is a Trainer of Trainers for ‘Helping Babies Breath’, an initiative by the Uganda Ministry of Health aimed at improving Newborn survival. He has also trained extensively in Research, Data management and analysis, Foundations of Simulation Education and Debriefing, Emergency Triage and Treatment of Children (ETAT), Paediatric and Adult HIV management, Palliative care and Nutrition.
