Godwin Komuntaro

Godwin Komuntaro has been in the animal field practice for some good time (Served as Extension Worker for 4 years under Heifer Project International, then as Animal Health Technician for 10 years under  National Agricultural Research Organization), and currently with Kabale University as Technician under the Department of Animal Science. He has been exposed to the areas of Animal Health Management (disease investigation, physical diagnosis and management in domestic animals), basic Animal drug use and handling, feeds and feeding management, basics in practical animal biotechnology, Research (conduction of field surveys and studies, data collection and management) and capacity building (farmers and students as main clients).

He has a Diploma in Animal Husbandry with supporting certificates of merit and is licensed by the Uganda Veterinary Board to practice as a professional para-veterinarian and enjoys hands-on working style with team spirit. Currently on a long distance learning for his Bachelors degree in the same area of specialization (Animal Production and Health).
