Godwin Komuntaro

Godwin Komuntaro has been in the animal field practice for some good time (Served as Extension Worker for 4 years under Heifer Project International, then as Animal Health Technician for 11 years under  National Agricultural Research Organization, and currently with Kabale University) and has been exposed to the areas of Animal Health Management (disease investigation, diagnosis and management in domestic animals), Animal drug use and handling, feeds and feeding management, Artificial insemination technology practice, Research (conduction of field survey and studies, data collection and management) and capacity building (farmers and students as main clients).

He has a Diploma in Animal Husbandry with supporting certificates of merit and is licensed by the Uganda Veterinary Board to practice as a professional para-veterinarian and naturally one of the activists of Animal rights/welfare. He enjoys hands-on working style with team spirit.
