Dr. Monicah Rullonga Kanyesigye

Deputy Academic Registrar

Dr. Rullonga has over 25 years of progressive management experience in institutions of higher education and Non-Governmental Organizations. She possesses strong competencies in stakeholder engagement, grants administration and accountability, talent development, and organizational development.
Dr. Rullonga holds a background in Social Sciences, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management in Education, a PhD in Administration and Management with a specialization in Governance and Institutional Leadership, and a Postdoctoral qualification in Higher Education Management.
She previously served as the Academic Registrar at Ernest Cook Ultrasound Research and Education Institute (now Ernest Cook University), where she gained substantial expertise in student management and academic administration.
Dr. Rullonga also serves as a member of the Research and Ethics Committee at Uganda Management Institute, where she contributes as a Lay Community Representative.
A service-oriented leader, she is a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Kyengera (D9214). She is a Past President (2013/2014) and Past Assistant Governor (2017/2018), reflecting her ongoing commitment to community service and leadership.

PhD in Administration and Management (UMI), MSc. Human Resource Management in Education (MUK), Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Sociology and Social Administration) (MUK)
