Dr. Akatwijuka Rogers holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology of Makerere University with special focus on Genetic Diversity, molecular biology, bioinformatics, Species Population Biology, Biosafety, Environmental Management, Programme Planning and Management, Research Methods, Plant Breeding and Biotechnology techniques. Other areas of specialty include plant physiology, entomology, zoology, ecology and educational curriculum and management.
Dr. Akatwijuka Rogers, on top of being a lecturer is currently serving as an associate dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences of Kabale University
