Cervical Cancer Screening Training for Reproductive Health Service Providers in Kabale, Rubanda, and Rukiga Districts in Kigezi Sub-region, South Western Uganda. Starting in 2019 this is a Project of Kabale University School of Medicine and Kabale Regional Referral Hospital, District Health Offices of Kabale, Rubanda, and Rukiga with an overall objective of increasing cervical cancer screening coverage in the Kigezi Sub-region. The project received support from World Wide Healing Hands of the USA. Recently, a Rotary Foundation Global Fund through Kabale Rotary Club (Host Partner) and Petaluma Valley Rotary Club of California (Participating Partner) approved and have provided funding for the project. Training is scheduled to start on 21st February 2022. Dr. Godwin Turyasingura (Project Leader), Professor John C. Lule (Associate Project Leader) Dr. Masembe Sezalio, Dr. Dale Mugisha, and Dr. James Ojom are principal trainers.
