Master of Science in Ecology and Conservation Biology
The program shall provide first-hand knowledge, experience and applications of ecology and conservation biology to foster students’ research and management skills for biodiversity. The programme aims to fill a critical gap in manpower needed to manage wildlife resources. The program will be run on a regular basis during the day. It will be based on course work and a research project leading to a dissertation. The structure and scope of this programme will engage students in rigorous coursework and research that spans over the duration of the programme. An evidence-based approach will be taken where applications of several of the courses to ecology and conservation, sustainability and environment will be explored. Whenever possible, applications to real life problems will be explored to increase confidence of the student and appreciation of the subject.
