The International Community of Banyakigezi (ICOB) – Uganda chapter invites applications from academically talented, needy, female A-level leavers or its equivalent for admission at Kabale University under the Ngorogoza Girls’ Education Fund for the Academic year 2023/2024.
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following;
- Must be female students from any of the six districts of Kigezi that’s; Kabale, Rukungiri, Kanungu, Rubanda, Rukiga and Kisoro.
- Must be those who originate from Kigezi but parents live in other districts of Uganda in Ankole, Tooro, Bunyoro, Buganda among others. (NOTE: Only Tooro will benefit from this scholarship this academic year).
- Must have attended and completed the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent.
- Must meet the Academic requirements of the University and the specific programmes applied for.
- Must have applied for, or been admitted to any of the undergraduate programmes offered by Kabale University.
- Must be the most deserving female student in terms of socio-economic background.
Applications should be submitted not later than 14/09/2023 at the Academic Registrar’s office at the University.
