The International Community of Banyakigezi (ICOB) – Uganda Chapter is pleased to announce the Paulo Ngorogoza Education Fund Scholarship for the academic year 2024/2025. This opportunity is open to academically talented but financially needy male and female A-level leavers or their equivalents who seek admission to Kabale University.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Kigezi Origin: Applicants must come from one of the six districts of Kigezi: Kabale, Rukungiri, Kisoro, Kanungu, Rubanda, or Rukiga. Alternatively, those whose parents originate from Kigezi but live in other districts of Uganda (such as Ankole, Tooro, Bunyoro, or Buganda) are also eligible.
- Academic Merit: Candidates must meet the academic requirements for admission to Kabale University and the specific undergraduate programmes they apply for.
- University Application: Applicants must have either applied to or been admitted to any undergraduate programme at Kabale University.
- Financial Need: Priority will be given to students with the most pressing socio-economic challenges, subject to verification.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted to the Academic Registrar’s office at Kabale University by 30th October 2024.
