The Office of the University Bursar welcomes all students to the new Academic Year 2025/26 at Kabale University. We particularly extend warm greetings to our new students who have chosen Kabale University for their academic and professional growth.
To ensure smooth registration and avoid penalties, students are reminded to take note of the following key dates and guidelines:
Key Dates for Semester I (AY 2025/26)
- HEC Students
- Semester commenced: 7th July 2025
- Registration deadline: 6th August 2025
- Freshers & Continuing Students
- Semester commenced: 18th August 2025
- Registration deadline: 17th September 2025
- Recess Students
- Semester commenced: 25th August 2025
- Registration deadline: 24th September 2025
Students who miss the registration deadlines will be charged a late registration fee of UGX 50,000.
Payment Requirements
- Students must enroll and pay tuition at the beginning of every semester.
- Registration requires either:
- Full payment of fees, OR
- Partial payment (50% for undergraduates, 60% for postgraduates).
- All University fees must be fully settled by the 14th week of the semester:
- 12th October 2025 – HEC Students
- 23rd November 2025 – Freshers & Continuing Students
- 30th November 2025 – Recess Students
Loan Scheme (HESFB) Beneficiaries
Students benefiting from the Higher Education Students’ Financing Board (HESFB) must submit a fully completed SLA form to the Quality Assurance Office within 30 days of the semester’s start to avoid penalties.
Mode of Payment
All payments should be made using the PRN generated from your student portal. Payments can be made through URA recognised commercial banks, bank agents, or mobile money accounts.
