Kabale University warmly welcomes all students to the Academic Year 2024/25, with special recognition to the new students who have chosen to begin their academic and professional journey with us. Please take note of the following important semester fee payment guidelines and key dates for your planning:
Key Dates:
- Semester Start Dates:
- Higher Education Certificate (HEC) Students: 6th July 2024
- All Other Students: 19th August 2024
- Registration Deadlines:
- HEC Students: 3rd September 2024
- All Other Students: 15th September 2024
- Recess Students: 21st September 2024
- Final Year Engineering Students: These deadlines do not apply, as they reported earlier on 1st July 2024.
- Full Fees Settlement Deadline:
- HEC Students: 13th October 2024
- All Other Students: 24th November 2024
Payment Guidelines:
- Fee Payment Requirements:
- All students are required to enroll and pay full fees at the beginning of each semester.
- Undergraduates: Must pay at least 50% of both functional and tuition fees within the first 30 days of the semester.
- Postgraduates: Must pay 60% of their fees within the same timeframe.
- Failure to pay fees by the respective deadlines will incur a late registration charge of Ugx.50,000.
- Payment Methods:
Please make all payments using the Payment Registration Number (PRN) generated from your student portal. Payments can be made through recognized commercial banks, bank agents, or mobile money accounts linked to URA. - Students under HESFB (Loan Scheme):
Ensure to submit a fully filled Student Loan Agreement (SLA) Form for the semester to the Quality Assurance Office within the first 30 days of the semester.
For further guidance, students who have not completed their fee payments by the deadlines are encouraged to visit the Office of the Academic Registrar.
