Isaac Ndawula holds a MSc in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, 2019; a BEng Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering (completed with distinction/cum laude) from University of South Africa, 2023; and a BSc in Agricultural Mechanization and Irrigation Engineering (upper-second class degree) from Busitema University, 2012. For high school and primary education, Ndawula attended Kyambogo College School, 2007; St. Peter’s Seminary SS, 2005; and Magulu Boarding Primary School, 2001, where he obtained his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education, Uganda Certificate of Education, and Primary Leaving Examination Certificate, respectively. Ndawula has 6 years of industrial experience as a Machine Design, Product and Plant Engineer, gained from previous employment at Sezibwa Sugar Factory Ltd, Uganda; Sirus International Ltd, UK; and Green Crystal Ltd, UAE. Ndawula has 9 years of teaching experience and supervision of undergraduate research and design engineering projects at various universities in Uganda and outside. He is presently an Assistant Lecturer (Machine design, Robotics and Automation) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kabale University. His current research focuses on applied mechanics, computational materials modeling, machine design and automation, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and mechanical intelligent systems.
