Master of Science in Ecology and Conservation Biology

The program shall provide first-hand knowledge, experience and applications of ecology and conservation biology to foster students’ research and management skills for biodiversity. The programme aims to fill a critical gap in manpower needed to manage wildlife resources. The program will be run on a regular basis during the day. It will be based on course work and a research project leading to a dissertation. The structure and scope of this programme will engage students in rigorous coursework and research that spans over the duration of the programme. An evidence-based approach will be taken where applications of several of the courses to ecology and conservation, sustainability and environment will be explored.
