Department of Commercial Law
Commercial Law is the body of law that regulates business activities. This department encompasses a wide body of laws that govern commercial transactions such as the law of Sale of Goods, the Law of Contract, the Law of Business Associations, Insolvency law, Intellectual Property Law, Labour law, Tax Law and other business-related laws. The purpose of this Department is to equip students with the skills to conclude business agreements on behalf of their clients and also ably represent their clients in case of any contentious matters arising from a business agreement. Knowledge will be shared through lectures, group assignments, moots on practical scenarios, and final examinations. The Department boasts of highly qualified staff who have expertise in handling commercial transactions.
