He is a Ugandan national originating from the South Western region of the country and a professional Quantitative Economist by training. He holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University and a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Gulu University. In addition, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Uganda Management Institute. He is currently advancing his academic career by pursuing a PhD in Economics at Makerere University.
Professionally, he serves as an Assistant Lecturer at Kabale University, where he contributes to teaching, research, and academic mentorship. Prior to this role, he worked with Impact Associates Ltd (Kampala) as a Projects Manager, gaining over five years of hands-on experience in consultancy across multiple fields. His expertise spans monitoring and evaluation, project planning and management, budgeting, proposal and business plan writing, training, and capacity building, among others. This diverse experience has equipped him with both practical and academic insights, positioning him as a versatile professional committed to advancing economic research, policy, and development practice.
