Paul Wanjoli is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Technology, Art and Design of Kabale University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University and a Master of Science in Power Systems and High Voltages from Dar es Salaam University. He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems Option) at Alexandria University, Egypt. The Ph.D. research is focusing on Frequency and Voltage stability studies of Microgrids.
Qualifications
MSc. Power Supply and High Voltage (University of Dar es Salaam)
BSc. Electrical Engineering (Mak)
Research Interests
Frequency and voltage stability studies of microgrids under disturbed conditions (on going PhD research work). I am also interested in furthering voltage stability studies on the large networks, optimal and economic dispatch of renewable energy sources for power generation among others in the areas of Micro and Smart grids.
Use of wind turbine to provide the energy requirements for water supply in communities (still on going at Nyabikoni Campus, Kabale University).
