Philbert Tusimirwe is an Assistant Lecturer-Kiswahili at the Institute of language studies, Kabale University. He holds a Masters degree in Kiswahili of IUIU (Islamic University in Uganda) and Bachelors degree in Arts with Education of Kabale University. He taught Kiswahili at Secondary school, and has also been teaching Behavior change program in East African schools especially Mabamba Secondary School- Tanzania, tertiary institutions and universities  since 2009. He is a motivational speaker for the youths who are in school and out of school, and this program has been run in East African countries  since the year 2010.

Besides this, Philbert is a member of UWAKI Magharibi CHAKITAU and CHAUKIDU Kiswahili associations and his dream is to see Kiswahili growing beyond East African borders.
