Dr. Geoffrey Ayebazibwe is a Lecturer of Pharmacology in the Department of Pharmacology of Kabale School of Medicine at Kabale University. Pursuing a Doctorate of Academic and Research Medicine and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Trials from the Universite Montpellier in France (2020), has Masters of Science in Pharmacology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2018) and obtained his first degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery also from Mbarara University of Science and Technology in 2008.
Since 2017, I continue to undergo professional training from several International institutions globally such as the University of California, John Hopkins University, University of Edinburgh, University of London, University of Cape town, University of Sydney, Micro Research Canada to mention but a few. This has been vital for the leadership and research roles I go through daily from the time of joining Pharmacology Departments of the Western Uganda Universities.
Born on 1 st March 1983 in Uganda, I am a Medical Pharmacologist in Africa with a broad background in medicine and drug development in non-communicable diseases plus infectious diseases prevention and management. Over time, I provided technical leadership and media talk shows to improve health service delivery in Uganda. I have worked as a medical professional in a number of Sub Saharan Institutions that inspires better health in Africa.
