As the country strives to meet the millennium goals among which is enhancement of levels of literacy and ICT proficiency among the population, there emerges escalated demand for further training and education. The main candidates include Grade III graduates from PTCs and Grade V from NTCs and universities.
The study program runs in a way that students attend lectures in (usually known as face-to-face) one holiday period and written modules are subsequently given for further reading; then appear for end of trimester examination in the subsequent holiday. Programs on offer include:
- Master of Education Management (2 years)
- Postgraduate Diploma in education (1 year)
- Bachelor of Education_Primary (2 years)
- Bachelor of Education_Secondary (Arts and Science) (2 years)
